Accommodation Relax and unwind in our comfortable self-catering cottages at Church Farm in Alsop-en-le-Dale, close to Ashbourne. A perfect base to explore the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and Peak District National Park. Our four star rated self-catering cottages at Church Farm - Pinster and Winnets Cottages (named after ancient local pastures) - provide a warm and cosy retreat, ideal for up to 4 or 5 people and can sleep up to 9 people if booked together – great for family get-togethers. The topsy-turvy cottages (the living accommodation is upstairs, with views over the countryside) have been beautifully converted from an historic barn retaining the stable doors and exposed beams. Quality furnishings and well equipped kitchens, together with central heating, have been added. A home made cake to welcome you to Church Farm and Alsop-en-le-Dale will be waiting for you on the dining table.

The cottages are set within a cobbled yard, each with a south facing seating area outside giving space to relax and enjoy the wonderful views and the comings and goings of the farm with a welcome cup of tea or glass of wine. There is ample off-road parking. Each property has Wi-Fi installed together with Freesat and flat screen televisions. Cots and high chairs are available on request.

Pinster, the left hand of the pair of cottages, provides accommodation for up to 3 guests, or 4 when using the extra full sized bed. Carpets in each room and central heating provide a really cosy home-from-home. The attractive and comfortable living area and kitchen are upstairs, with high ceilings and Velux windows giving a light and airy feel. There is a flat screen television with Freesat , together with a radio/CD player and plenty of local maps and guide books. Wi-Fi is available. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and includes an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. The dining area, with table laid for tea, has a homemade cake waiting to welcome you to Church Farm. . There are 2 bedrooms - the cosy double room overlooking the courtyard and a single room with space for the full sized extra bed when needed. The attractive bathroom has an instant shower over the bath.

Winnets is the larger of the two cottages and has 3 bedrooms providing accommodation for 4 people (or 5 with the extra available full sized bed). Downstairs, the hallway leads to a comfortable single bedroom and a spacious bathroom. There is an instant shower over the bath in the bathroom. Upstairs, is the living area and kitchen with views over the surrounding countryside and 2 attractive bedrooms – a double bedded room with a king sized bed which overlooks the courtyard and a single room which can accommodate the full sized which can accommodate the additional full sized extra bed when needed. There is a flat screen television with Freesat in the lounge, together with a radio/CD player and plenty of locamaps and guide books. Wi-Fi is available. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and includes an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and washing machine and a welcoming cake will be waiting for you on the dining table.

A washing machine and boot washing facilities are provided in a separate laundry room, together with a clothes drying line. A tumble dryer is also available.
Bicycles can be stored in the barn opposite the cottage.
