With four footpaths radiating from the village and the Tissington Trail just a field away, you can leave the car behind and your adventure can start straight from the door. Your destination could be Dovedale or one of the local villages. Church Farm Holiday Cottages has developed a series of circular walks of varying lengths for your enjoyment which are available as printed route cards or for download to your satnav or smartphone. These walks will ensure that you are able to explore that beautiful scenery of the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park.

Cyclists of all abilities will enjoy the trails and hills and dales. From a leisurely ride along the Manifold, Tissington or High Peak Trails to more demanding rides taking in some of the steepest and highest roads in England.
If you haven’t got room to bring your bike, no problem because cycles, to suit all ages, are available from Cycle Hire Centres at Parsley Hay, Ashbourne, Middleton Top and Waterhoues.
